“Hi’ my name is Cliff”
I’m a self taught artist living in the wonderful historic Town of Berwick upon Tweed in the North of England.
I’ve always shown a keen interest in art.
As a little boy, I remember sitting in the garden of our family home, drawing and painting little masterpieces for my Mum.
Art was always my favourite subject at school, I would always give it my best shot!
As I got older I left school, life then got in the way…
I took a job as an apprentice, met the girl of my dreams, we married and had our own little family.
It’s only in recent years, I discovered I still had the nak!
First using watercolours then acrylics, oils, soft pastels and recently charcoal.
I prefer to use oils for most of my work but I do like to use acrylic's for their benefit of fast drying!
I started my art page on Facebook, not only did I grow likes and followers but I managed to gain confidence to improve my work too.
Nothing more grows your confidence when people like your work and even want to buy it!
I’ve painted different subjects over the years but going with my heart I prefer landscape.
